I wouldn’t be feeding rice at all because it’s not species appropriate. Have the vets been able to identify what the so called systemic fungal infection is? First time in all my years I’ve heard of that. Are you feeding any bone? The dogs need to eat digestible bone every day. Flaking skin can even be caused by what shampoo is used.

I have been feeding my dog with raw buffalo meal and cooked rice to reduce cost since he was a puppy and now 4 year old. Is it better to mince the raw meat or chucks are fine? He is starting to flake, almost dandruff like and the vets are saying he has systemic fungal infection due to the raw meat.
